We intend to post updates when changes are made to the Ponte Carlo City. New maps (MLO's), new scripts, new jobs all the way across to balancing changes made to way the economy works and even the balance between the continuous fine tunring of classic "cops & robbers" formula.

Update: Firstly, the city is open again, thanks for your patience. We had a few things to iron out before this evenings session.
Secondly, we now have a new garage script! The last one gave us more problems than solutions, despite being seen as one of the best on the market. Mistakes are made, and we move on. We are now running our garage script from the same provider as our mechanic script, bringing alignment to vehicles in the city! Most things haven't changed, but the bits that have:
JOB VEHICLES - Garages are in the same place as before, please speak with your commanding officer if you are PD around vehicle etiquette, as you no longer have a vehicle which just belongs to you!
CURRENT GARAGE - Doesn't matter where it was, your car is now at legion square (or so I believe!). We apologise for this, but it was unavoidable with the move.
GARAGE LOCATIONS - Some locations may have moved slightly, use the map to locate the garage, and the entry/exit point. We may move these slightly going forward, but there is method to the madness.
We hope this will also stop issues with impounding, fake plates, and vehicle duplication which were frequent issues previously.

Update: We have updated our game build. Unfortunately, this is likely to cause some issues with outfits saved at the clothing store. You may need to recreate these one by one (hope you didnt have too many!).
By updating the build, we hope to resolve some of the crash issues we have had, and bring a few new things to the city.

Update: Following the next tsunami, there is a big change to the city. The Ponte Carlo PD of cracked down on drug dealers!
From now on:
You will only be able to sell in specific areas. The police are sat on everywhere else in the city! Not sure how you will find out where these are though, only the criminal underworld know....
The lower down the tree you are, the less money you make, and the less chance of meeting someone who may make you a VERY good offer 😉 Also, there is more chance of alerting police or being robbed, and you can only sell at specific times! These are all for you to figure out if you wish to break the laws of this good city!
Level up to be able to speak with "Jeff", the overlord of drugs in Ponte Carlo. "Jeff" will give you the opportunity to sell in BIG quantities. But be aware, he moves round a lot!
This is one of our BIGGEST criminal additions, and will help not only the drug trade, but also the economy of the city, and the police!

Update: We have replaced our (now) outdated banking system with a brand new one which is much easier to integrate with other scripts! I have also painstakingly gone through each and every script which has money go in or out of the bank and added the correct exports to make this work even better than the last!
This means that transactions which did not previously show (shops, police fines, and some others!) will now ALL show correctly in both the player account, and where applicable, the job account too!
Job accounts have been recreated (police, ambulance and cityhall for now), but will need an admin to allow access as and when players are online. Please give me a shout if this is the case. Shared accounts are also empty, but if you recreate this, and shout at me, I will put the funds back into them as they are right now. Please DO NOT add additional funds until this bit has been done.
We have also had a BIG phone update. With the new banking, there was no loss of config, so the update to the phone has been completed. This means notifications will work better, and functionality should be exactly the same as before.

Update: I mentioned yesterday that we would be adding things to change mindsets. That has started today. More to do when its quiet (or when its busy!) to keep everyone coming back, and some silly small updates:
Use more props! Coffee vending machines work, parking meters work (not added for Tow job yet, but certainly will!), you can search and hide in bins, and use portaloos! This has also brought a change in our seating script, it shouldn't have any negative affect, but I am hoping that soon 95% of chairs will be sittable!
Go Kart hire is now available at the arena. While the arena is not being used for an event, the go kart track will be setup, and rental is available at $200 for 15mins. If you finish before time is up, remember to return your kart!
And that leads onto another new feature, or should I say a returning feature, organised underground racing! You can now acquire a racing fob to allow you to start and join races. This is available from a secure location (so those pesky police dont shut us down!) for only $5000. There are currently 6 active race tracks around the streets (and one is the go kart track at the arena!) and more to come. There are also rumours of a big-name street racer paying attention to our little town. Apparently, the police are so bad at driving, he is considering hosting a race here in the future. No other information yet, but will keep watching!
Also run updates on all outstanding scripts, which should have resolved some issues (hospital bug!) and kept us safe and secure.

Keep your eyes peeled for some new content dropping featuring the new vehicles! We're changed the rarity of them too. What used to be "1 of 5" is now only "1 of 3" so you'll have be to quick, cause once they are gone, they're gone!

Update: We have finalised business prices, and are now ready to take applications for businesses in preparation to begin allowing them. I have 1 more test to perform, and from there we will be able to let people start running them!
As this is the case, our wonderful staff team have created a new channel 🏗-business-application where you are able to raise a ticket to apply for the business you want! These applications will be reviewed by the admin team, and decisions will be made. You need to write a detailed application, and one of the questions has a 400 character minimum to ensure this is not just a whim, and we won't be reselling the business within a week.
We have some businesses ready to go as of right now, but you may apply to run any business you like. If we think it is viable, and can make it work with the maps we currently hold, then we absolutely will. There will be rules and restrictions which change as we grow, and these were mentioned in the community update last week. For the most part, the following are the key regulations:
The business must be used for legitimate purposes. If you are caught using the business for illicit or illegal purposes, a decision will be taken by the government and PD of Ponte Carlo as to the continuation of said business. You will not receive any refund of monies spent to create and purchase the business should this happen
Businesses will be limited based on demand. For example, there is currently only need for 1 garage, but this will extend to other businnesses depending on applications received. As the city grows, as will demand, so feel free to invite people to join us!
Should there be multiple requests for a business, we will pick the best business case, no other considerations will be made
You may only own 1 business outright, or 50% of 2 businesses.
So go nuts guys, lets see those applications, and start moving on having loads of entrepreneurs!!!

Update: I have spent the day working on PDM and making it actually work, and think we have resolved all issues. However, please note we only have limited ability to test, so we may still come across issues that require a ticket. However:
Disappearing cars should be a thing of the past. We now load them in a different way, and server-side. As you approach, PDM may seem empty, but when you get closer the vehicles should spawn
Buying cars works seamlessly again. No messing around, lockpicking, paying an extra 1k etc etc
This script is also fully compatible with our banking script, so when we bring in player-owned dealerships (or if I guess???) there will be no long-drawn out configs.
Hopefully this is the start of fixing the things we see most tickets for, and the things I have outstanding on my list!

Update: In my last update, I asked for more activity in the city, and that certainly seems to be MUCH better, so a HUGE thank you to everyone who has been around.
For those who don't know, I have been absent for a couple of weeks while I moved all my stuff in with @Fonda Dixx/Charity Case and unpacked/set everything up. That is all now done, and we will both be back in the city, as well as me doing some dev work once again.

Update: Another quick one from me. Ever flipped your car? Had to break the law, steal another, and ram the living shit out of yours to get it the right way up? Just flex your F1 muscle, and flip it back over.
But be aware, for those who drive in an unsafe manner away from our good police officers, this is not the quickest process, so don't think this is a get out of jail free card in chases 😉

Update: Just a quick one. Due to the way Discord handles media (link changing etc) we have shifted our media hosting to Fivemanage, a specialised media host for Fivem servers. This means any photos/videos/voice notes will no longer appear in 📷-camera-roll. I am looking into integration to get it back in there, but it is not a high priority.

Update: You may not agree, but I feel this is by far the biggest addition to Ponte 2.0. It wasn't requested by players, but it is something the staff team agreed was a good idea as the resource we were using was no longer supported or updated, and had plenty of flaws that were frustrating!
With that, I want to let everyone know that we have brought new phones to the city! I have been looking at this phone resource for some time, and it went on a rare sale. I spoke to the staff, and we all agreed, we had to have it. If you want to see what it does, it easier for me to link you to the showcase video. Its a bit long, but worth the watch! It does mean a few changes for us, in the way we do things, and unfortunately, a little data loss, but nothing major!
Your new phone will need to be used from inventory on first use to be able to be setup. Once it has been setup, the shortcut key 'M' will work again
All contacts have been lost, but this just forces everyone to interact again to get them back.
Garages will, once again, track your vehicle. It will tell you if it is impounded, garaged, or out. If it is out, it will place a marker, unless it was despawned, in which case you will need to retreive it at the garage for the usual fee.
All socials now have accounts, and work as socials do. Likes, retweets/reposts, followers, messages etc etc.
The employment app has gone, and been replaced with another multijob system. Simply press F5 to see your jobs!
EMS Billing has been improved. With the removal of the multijob system, EMS now simply use their third eye on the patient, and have the option to bill them with either cash or bank. Funds drop into the correct account.
Phones no longer link to a player! You can steal/confiscate people's phones, read their messages, see their contacts, view their socials. So make sure you have your security features on them!
In the near future, you will be able to own multiple phones! Different numbers, logins, everything! I'm sure some people could make use of burner phones.
We currently have 1 bug in the phone which is being worked on by me, and the phone development team. The housing app will not currently show apartments. But as nobody ticked that they used that app on the survey, it doesn't seem too important.
There has been a lot of work gone into integrating this phone with other resources we use, and because of this, the dev team are aware that there may be some glitches. Everything has been tested rigorously, but only by a small portion of the community. A test in the live server is a much better way for us to get feedback. We do have a rollback plan, should the phone be unusable, or cause big problems (but I do not see this being an issue).
I hope you all like the work we have done, I believe this is one of our best additions, as it is something EVERY player will use.
Please, let us know if you have any questions, concerns, or find any bugs, by opening a ticket. Tickets for the phone will be looked at exclusively by the dev team until we are certain everything has gone as smoothly as we expect it to.

Update: After constantly forgetting about it, I have finally fixed the rental script, and added 2 locations, by both sets of apartments. Cars are VERY cheap, but not very good!
I have been VERY busy with lots of changes this week, which are all in the final stages of testing, so keep an eye on this channel to see whats next!

Update: We have recently had an increase of hospital visits due to food poisoning from expired food not having a sell by date. Due to this, the city will be looking at ensuring everything that should expire, be it food, drink, or other organic materials, will expire!
We have also had reports of warranty not being honoured on some technological devices.
We will be looking to ensure that all devices clearly show their warranty status at all times. This is being looked into as quickly as possible by the city to ensure there are no further problems.

Update: The 3rd of the biggies, I would like to announce that the 3 weed systems we had have all been consolidated, and run as one, perfect resource! I wont be giving too much away, but:
No more plants provided for you, grow your own! Remember, they need food and water.
Plants can be planted anywhere with grass....but if police see them, they will undoubtedly destroy them(with fire!!!!)!
Plants can be processed into joints, bags, or larger packs
Im not giving you anymore! Oh, I will tell you you have to acquire the seeds yourself, no longer in house robberies 😉

Update: Following on from yesterday morning's update, we have had the town's Utility Service Providers in and we believe we have found a contaminant that had gotten into the city's water supply which we now believe was causing all the Heart Attacks over the course of this week.
We are working closely with the USP to get this fixed ASAP and we believe they may have come up with a solution already so we are hoping to see a decline in random heart attacks of our wonderful citizens!

Update: Update 2 of 3 has been completed today. This one is not expected to be quite as smooth as yesterdays, but this is due to our provider performing regular updates, so some things are subject to change, and there may be some bugs in their updates. However, we have updated and hugely improved our EMS Job script!
Paramedics and Dr's have been briefed on the new processes. For citizens, you are still able to check-in at the front desk of Ponte Carlo Infirmary, and the cost is still the same. However, when paramedics are available, they will be transporting you back to the hospital for treatment, no more roadside revives!

Update: The first of 3 major updates has now been completed. Following the discovery of security issues and glitches in our garage script, we decided to upgrade a little, and now have a whole new garage script!
This comes with the following features:
A garage system where vehicles can be stored at any garage, and also tracked from any garage (phone tracking is now disabled!)
An option to return a de-spawned vehicle to the garage for a fee. If you leave your car out, it will no longer go to the depot, you will need to claim it from the garage it was last parked in for the fee of $1000
Reduced depot fees!!! Those pesky police officers can no longer depot your car for absurd amounts! The depot fee is set by the city Government (currently $250)
However, the police now have a new Impound at Davis PD. They can put vehicles here and ensure that you only get them back once an investigation has been concluded
Depot/impounding can be more customised for Police. Notes, a time, and the ability for someone to get their own vehicle from depot or not are all on the new forms. This opens up for the tow job to include managing the depot in future
A working fakeplate system. This is fun, but I wont give too many details (not yet fully in the city, but will be very soon!)
The garages do not look as sleek as before, and work by pressing E to get your list of vehicles, and pulling it out to a set spot, rather than individual parking spaces. This is a small price to pay to plug the holes we had previously.
You will find some garages have gone missing. We have moved all vehciles into the nearest garage in the new system. If you are not sure where it is, track it by visiting any garage, you will be able to see where it is from there.
